  • Both brass and zinc alloy coins can be made with diamond cut edges.
  • The cutting edge made on zinc alloy coins will be always the same tone (finishing) as coins because we do plating after cutting. If we do cutting after plating, the exposed zinc alloy will get oxidized.
  • The cutting edge made on brass coins will be different tone (finishing) because we do cutting after plating finished. The exposed brass shows different tone of finishing.
